There are a number of ways to update your location. The simplest of these is to use the web site. You can update your location to point at an existing favourite as follows:
- Make sure you’re on the “Favourites” tab by clicking the “Favourites” button on the top left.
- If the favourite you want to use is not listed on the left, drag the map to the correct location or enter the label for the favourite in the search box on the top right.
- Once the favourite appears on the left, simply click on the label and we’ll update your location, after a few seconds you’ll see a pop-up message confirming that this worked.
If you simply want to specify that you’re at a latitude and longitude and don’t care about creating a new favourite you can do so by following these instructions:
- Again make sure you’re on the “Favourites” tab by clicking the “Favourites” button on the top left.
- Drag the map to the area that you are in or use the search box on the top right to help.
- When you can see the right location on the map, click the “Add Location” button.
- The “Unnamed” radio button should be selected, but if it isn’t, select it.
- Click “Create” and we’ll update your location, after a few seconds you’ll see a pop-up message confirming that this worked.
